Gallatin River Guides has been putting anglers on fish in Southwest Montana since 2008. Whether you’re a first-timer who’s never held a fly rod or a seasoned angler chasing trophy browns, our guides know every bend, run, and riffle on the Gallatin, Madison, and Yellowstone Rivers.
We run half-day and full-day guided trips year-round. Spring runoff brings explosive nymph fishing. Summer means dry fly season on the Gallatin. Fall is when the big browns move and the Madison turns gold. Winter gives you solitude and surprisingly willing fish.
What’s included:
• Licensed, insured Montana guides
• All fly fishing gear and equipment
• Flies, leaders, and tippet
• Montana fishing license
• Lunch on full-day trips
• Photos of your catch
We keep groups small — maximum 2 anglers per guide — so you get real instruction and real river time, not a crowded float with strangers.
Bozeman is one of the finest basecamp towns for fly fishing in North America. Three blue-ribbon rivers within an hour. Yellowstone Park headwaters to the south. We’ll put you exactly where the fish are.
Book early — summer and fall dates fill fast.
